Swim Meet #6 @ HOME vs Settler's Landing, MONDAY, 7/10
Hello Shark Families!!
Can you believe that our 6th and LAST regular season swim meet is MONDAY, 7/10?! We are swimming at HOME vs Settler's Landing. As a reminder: All of our swimmers need to be at the pool MONDAY at 4:30 for warm-ups -- even though the meet doesn't start until 6pm. Please camp in the baby pool area or along the far, right end of the pool between the baby pool and restrooms. (We give the away team the covered deck and the large area in the middle.) We warm-up first, then we give the other team the pool to warm-up. Littles warm up first, so our littles will be in the water by 4:35/4:45ish. As for when they are not swimming, they are encouraged to come and cheer on their team! Kids (swimmers or tag-alongs) bring healthy-ish snacks, water, gatorade and games that can't get destroyed if they get dripped on. Many bring playing cards, or coloring books, checkers/chess, books... A couple towels, folding/camp chairs, if you like (as seating will be limited), and of course goggles and swim caps! If you are new and I have not given you a swim cap yet, please come see me! If you have lost or ripped your cap and want a replacement, the cost is $10.
CONCESSIONS! We are offering an assortment of chips/candy/snacks and Papa John's Pizza! We will be offering a $5 deal -- two slices of PJ pizza and a drink for $5! Purchases to be made with Cash (preferred), or Venmo with a $10 minimum.
VOLUNTEERS! Please reference the list below to be sure you know where you are signed up to help during the meet Monday!! PLEASE let me know if you can fill these positions ASAP!
****And a reminder about CHAMPS shirts (and, yes, I know some kiddos are on the cusp and we won't know until Monday's meet whether or not they'll be going to CHAMPS...)
